Essential Oils are a wonderful way to fragrance your home and to help you with your moods, whether it is to relax or revitalise. For me, using oils and an oil burner allowed me to give up air fresheners which were messing with my sinuses and giving me headaches.

Bergamot £18: Bergamot oil is a popular choice for promoting relaxation and reducing feelings of stress and anxiety. It is also commonly used to help support healthy skin. In aromatherapy, Bergamot Organic Essential Oil is believed to have a soothing and uplifting effect on the mind and body, helping to promote mental clarity and focus. It is also used to help alleviate symptoms of depression and fatigue.
Cedarwood £4: Cedarwood Organic Essential Oil is a natural and pure oil that is extracted from the wood of the Cedrus Atlantica tree. This oil is commonly known for its woody, warm and earthy aroma and is popularly used in aromatherapy for its grounding and calming properties. Cedarwood oil is a popular choice for promoting relaxation and reducing feelings of anxiety and stress. It is also commonly used to help support healthy respiratory function. In aromatherapy, Cedarwood Organic Essential Oil is believed to have a calming and grounding effect on the mind and body, helping to promote mental clarity and focus. It is also used to help alleviate symptoms of insomnia and restlessness.
Eucalyptus £2: Eucalyptus essential oil is said to be antibacterial, disinfectant and an analgesic. It has been used to relieve coughs, colds, and other such respiratory troubles. It is believed to ease muscle and joint pains, and helps to heal wounds, burns, ulcers and insect bites. In aromatherapy eucalyptus is said to promote activity, vitality, and energy.
Geranium £18: Geranium oil is a popular choice for promoting emotional balance and inner peace, helping to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. It is also commonly used to help support healthy skin and promote a healthy immune system. Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to prepare inhalations for colds. Add a few drops to your bath water to feel invigorated and refreshed. A few drops of oil in a diffuser is said to kill germs and airborne bacteria.
Ginger £5.50: When diluted with a carrier oil Ginger oil is used in soothing the pain of rheumatism, arthritis, and carbuncles. When used in a diffuser It believed to help with hangovers, colds, flu, coughs, sinusitis, chills and fever.
Grapefruit £11.50: Grapefruit oil is a popular choice for promoting feelings of joy and happiness, helping to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety. In aromatherapy, Grapefruit Organic Essential Oil is believed to have a refreshing and revitalizing effect on the mind and body, helping to promote mental clarity and focus. It is also used to help alleviate symptoms of depression and fatigue.
Jasmine £8: Jasmine Dilute Essential Oil used in healing and religious ceremonies because of this compelling quality. In China, jasmine oil was used in sick rooms to make the air fragrant, but it was also thought to clear the air of pollutants even before the discovery of bacteria. Today, the essence is produced through a process called solvent extraction. At first glance, jasmine is all about scent. Its complex, floral energy could be a mood-lifter for most people and provide aphrodisiac qualities. In a therapeutic sense, jasmine is said to treat dry, aging skin. Additionally, jasmine is believed to relieve anger, anxiety, and stress.
Lavender £3: Applied topically, Lavender is believed to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Add to bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck. Add a few drops of Lavender to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep. Due to Lavender’s versatile properties, it is considered the must-have oil to have on hand at all times.
Lemon £2.50: This oil is being used to refresh the mind and sharpen concentration, so it is often preferred in room fresheners for offices and banks. It is believed to help with rheumatism, arthritis, and gout. When used in an oil burner (a few drops in water), the vapours of lemon oil can be used for colds, laryngitis, headache, and flu. Smelling the aroma is said to be helpful for mental hiccups like depression, irritation, stress, lethargy, and fatigue. When a few drops are added to the bath or when blended into a massage oil, it is said to relieve lack of energy and tiredness. It is also said it can help get rid of hangovers.
Lime £3: When used in an oil burner, is believed to stimulate a tired mind and help to ease anxiety, apathy, and depression. When diluted with a carrier oil it is said to be helpful for arthritis, rheumatism and poor circulation.
Patchouli £5: In eastern countries, patchouli oil is used in potpourris and sachets between linen and clothes for the fragrance as well as to keep bedbugs and insects away. The oil is said to have a balancing effect on the emotions and create an amorous atmosphere. When used in an oil burner, it is said to ease anxiety and depression. Used in bath water, it is believed to help skin and scalp complaints, fungal infections, fluid retention, break down cellulite and ease constipation. It has excellent tissue regenerating properties, speeds up healing and fights infections. Thus, it is said to help with acne, eczema, weeping sores, ulcers, and athlete's foot.
Peppermint £2.50: Good for ailments like asthma, colic, fever, flatulence, headache, nausea, chest congestion and vertigo. This oil is supposed to be excellent for mental fatigue and depression, refreshing and stimulating with its menthol content. It is good for the skin and is used in lotions to treat sunburn, itchiness or inflamed skin. When used in an oil burner it is not only therapeutic. but also keeps away mosquitoes and other insects.
Rosemary £2.50: This essential oil is believed to treat wounds, burns, colds, flu, fatigue, digestive troubles, headaches, asthma, bronchitis, gout, rheumatism, liver and gall bladder problems, water retention and poor circulation. For a massage, rosemary oil is often mixed with a base oil or two like almond, apricot kernel or hazelnut oil. It is good for the hair as it is said to increase circulation to the scalp and promote hair growth. Never use this oil internally, and avoid it if you're pregnant or suffer from high blood pressure or epilepsy.
Sage £6: Sage Essential Oil is known to stimulate and clarify the mind while exhibiting a balancing, uplifting, soothing, and strengthening effect on the senses to ease negative moods.
Sandalwood £6: This versatile oil has been used historically to clean wounds, treat influenza, diarrhoea, alleviate cystitis and vaginal infections. Amyris essential oil is believed to ease anxiety, tension, insomnia, and act as an aphrodisiac, relieving impotence and frigidity. It is said to be effective in treating coughs, colds, bronchitis, and its calming properties aid meditation. Additionally, it's a muscle relaxant and emollient.
Tea Tree £2.50: Tea tree oil is said to be good for relieving cold, cough and flu - perfect for preparing inhalations with water. It is also a component of many products used to treat acne, fungal infections, dandruff or haemorrhoids.
Traffic Jam Blend £3.50: This essential oil blend is specially made for car journeys and driving. A few drops in the Car Diffuser (specifically designed to fit in your car) provides a fragrant aroma that helps you feel grounded, balanced and relaxed - but don't worry, not too relaxed. Contains: Lavender, Rosemary, Mandarin, Amber. The bottle has a dropper so that you can easily add the oil to the pad included in the Car Diffuser Kit.
Ylang Ylang £6: Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil is considered one of the best at relaxing the mind and the body. Simply smelling it is supposed to help lower blood pressure.
